JISEAS published a report, "Refugee Protection Practices in 5 ASEAN Countries and Their Implications for South Korea," with the support of the Korean Institute for International Economic Policy.
This study suggests some implications for refugee policies to help the Korean government carry out its obligations as a sound member of the international community. Some ASEAN countries may provide good reference points for their decades-long experiences coping with refugee issues.
